This class will teach individual techniques with details, then combine into short manageable mini-sequences, so you can do as much or as little as you feel is appropriate. Targeted postures and breathing techniques remove the guesswork and get you results in less than 20 minutes.. And I have experienced this too, in my personal practice. Scientific methods are amazing, and so are time tested rituals, but sometimes you just have to try things for yourself and see how they make you feel. Around 15 yrs ago I got stuck in a hotel bathtub before a wedding. My low back (SI Joints specifically) were actually too flexible, and not stabilizing properly. Strengthening my core did help the muscle imbalance. But it made the anxiety worse. Why? Because while I was sucking my stomach in, I was barely breathing and what little was coming in was only in my chest. So basically I was causing myself to hyperventilate just by trying to engage my core. As someone who has been through this personally (many times), I know how to cut right to the chase and get things done efficiently.
But where does constipation come in you ask? Certain breath practices and postures target the colon and downward flow of energy…it just so happens there is a root cause overlap with the other components of this course and is all woven under the same guiding principles. It balances the air element, which is most prevalent in autumn. You will be creating awareness of yourself in your body, observing patterns in your mind and contributing factors from your lifestyle.
