From keynote insights to breakout sessions on anxiety, back pain, and end-of-life rituals, this published SYTAR 2025 recap captures the heart of modern Yoga Therapy in action. Discover the tools, themes, and transformative moments that made this year’s symposium unforgettable - and why SYTAR 2026 is already generating buzz.
I’m honored to share that I had the opportunity to serve as the official conference reporter for SYTAR 2025, and my reflections were just published in the Summer edition of Yoga Therapy Today, the professional magazine of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
This is a huge milestone for me personally. I was diagnosed with learning disabilities in middle school and avoided writing whenever possible throughout college. To now have my work featured in a national professional magazine - and to contribute in a way that reflects both my voice and my experience - is incredibly meaningful.
This article not only captures my lived experience at the conference, but also highlights the broad scope of yoga therapy, from anxiety and back pain to hospice work and stroke recovery. SYTAR is a space where we see the depth and diversity of this field in action, and I hope these reflections offer a glimpse of that richness.
